About Alice

I am an undergraduate student in Psychology with Clinical Psychology, going into my third year at Anglia Ruskin University, and ultimately hoping to become a clinical psychologist with a focus on child mental health. I have had a particular interest in psychology, specifically in regard to mental health, for most of my academic career, leading to my GCSE and A-level choices and culminating in my university degree.

In joining the Lifespan Psychology team, I aim to improve the quality of the service for everyone accessing it by analysing feedback and using it to support change. I am a fast learner with a focus on organisation in both my work and time, which is an asset in the research assistant role. I hope to broaden my experience in a clinical setting, which will enable me to attain my goal of working as a child clinical psychologist.

My interest in psychology lies primarily in child and adolescent mental health, the treatments and how these issues manifest in their physical health. I believe that therapy must be holistic and catered to the person to be a positive and successful experience for the individual, and this is clearly highlighted in the care provided by Lifespan Psychology.
