About Dr. Esther Cole
I am HCPC registered, BPS accredited and a professionally insured Clinical Psychologist working in the NHS and private practice. I have worked in multi-disciplinary teams with clients with a range of mental and physical health, neurological conditions, challenging behaviour and cognitive problems, with very positive results since 2008 (qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013).
I tailor make all therapies to the person, child, young person or organisation’s needs and draw on the best available evidence. This could mean offering a combination of different therapies such as CBT, systemic and narrative approaches or integrating several therapeutic methods until we feel we are making progress.

Dr Joy Wong
Health Psychologist (she/her)
I am a passionate and experienced psychologist. I have been known as a client-centered, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist (CBT) with extensive research and clinical experience of emotional disturbances and self-harm behaviours in children, young people and their families. I have worked in private hospitals and clinics for over 20 years, and also started to see clients online since the pandemic.
My clients mostly see me for mood (e.g. depression, bipolar), anxiety (e.g. panic attacks, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorders), stress-related problems (e.g. sleeplessness, gastrointestinal, pains and other psychosomatic complaints), relationship and family problems.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with CBT, and each session is tailor-made for every client. Clients mostly feel relaxed with mindfulness exercises, progressive muscle relaxation and breathing exercises. Family members are often invited to join the sessions. Some male clients have found specific exercises more helpful than pure talking therapy.
I see the goodness in people regardless of age, gender, race, religion or disability. I am fluent in English, Cantonese and good in Mandarin.
